I'm not very good at design, so why not just copy Google?

The main "summary" page for the web interface to the media server. The pie chart is automatically rendered by POV-Ray.

The "finished" downloads automatically get cleaned out after sitting there for 2 days. I should have got a screenshot of a download in action, but I didn't have anything I needed to download. You'll have to trust me that the "percentage done" and "time left" columns work!

This is my proudest achievement. You can see it better in the "Full Size" image, but I actually take the search results returned by EasyNews and modify them server-side so that the download links are automatically changed to download on the server.
